I get how confusing it can be when you want to dive into a new lifestyle. When I first started pursuing a plant-based diet, I was in high school and had no clue what I was doing. My first “vegan” shopping trip ended with me grabbing bean sprouts, tofu, veggie burgers, soy hot dogs and soy milk.
Granted, there weren’t a whole lot of plant-based options at the time, but even if there had been, I wasn’t sure exactly what eating only plant-based foods was supposed to look like. It would have been easier if I had someone to guide me, and the more I learned about the benefits of removing animal products from my diet, the more I wanted to share what I was learning and help other people experience positive change.
