Infographic: The War on Women’s Bodies

Posted by:

Body dissatisfaction is one of the major problems that lead to eating disorders. While it’s not possible to blame the media for every instance where a woman or girl doesn’t like her body, the thousands of images that barrage us every day certainly don’t help.

This infographic details the impact that negative body image has on women of all ages, including its contribution to the development of eating disorders.  Visit the National Eating Disorders Association website for more facts and statistics.  Please feel free to share this infographic on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or your own blog. National Eating Disorders Awareness Week is February 24th – March 2nd.  Help spread awareness so others can heal.
